Internal Investigations

Company: We conduct investigations for companies.  Our attorneys have investigated stock option grant processes, employment practices and regulatory compliance.  We provide a report to the audit committee,  special litigation committee or other designated corporate body.  At the company’s request, we advocate the client’s interests with law enforcement and regulatory agencies. 

Employees: We represent current and former employees who are being interviewed as part of internal investigations.  Given that the attorneys conducting the investigations represent the company and not the employee, it is crucial for involved employees to have their own counsel, especially when the company’s investigation will be provided to the government or discoverable to plaintiffs’ attorneys.
